5 ways to find your worth again

Here I am, two months into making my schedule with my old 9-5, far from my mind. I haven’t moved the needle as much as I planned.

How many of you get discouraged by not seeing results?

I want to preface the fact that this isn’t going to be a negative post. You all know me well enough by now.

Do you find your worth in what you can accomplish? What you can do for others? I do. Even if we were just a lump, we would still be worthy. Mind Blown!

I find looking at beautiful things. Inspiring things.

Listening to music.

Being with family.

Traveling.

Taking a walk & Praying can totally change your perspective.

Bonus* Trying something out of the ordinary. Challenge yourself.

I needed a fresh look at the world again. I wanted so badly to become someone else—a superhero, perhaps, with lofty goals taped to my workstation. However, I am making strides toward my goal. I encourage you to find joy in trying. You are not a failure.

Proverbs 29 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” This is simultaneously alarming and motivating.

Let me say business has been fantastic!!! I LOVE what I do. You all have been so sweet in asking about this transition. And it has gone well, but I push myself past the norm, past the obvious. My mother says I am hard on myself; you know she is always right.

The next time you find yourself being hard on yourself for not accomplishing more, remember that it matters more to have a goal and take steps toward it. Never compare.

Scripture says, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

That means freedom from fear, expectations, comparison, and so many other chains.

As I write this, I am looking at the clouds and feeling the soft breeze on my face, and I remember I am a creation. Here for a reason, for a purpose. Let’s use it!

I can’t wait to go on the next adventure with you, friend.

Let’s go!

Cheers to spring and this photoshoot that was WAY out of my box. Thanks for leading me through this, Bailey!

Hugs!

Until next month,

Kimberly Nicole Adventures
