I don’t know how to say this without sounding cliche, but this Mini-Session was my dream come true. How silly to focus on MY dream when it comes to capturing YOUR family. There is something about a carefully strategized plan that includes impressive clients and the perfect lighting that mixes to form the ideal combination.

I had tears while working on these photos; what I wouldn’t give for childhood photos like these. Yes, I could still have this done. Let me tell you; there is something about watching kids be kids in a wild area that makes my heart soar.

How fortunate you are, mommas, even when it’s the last thing you feel. I had mother’s day in mind when organizing this day, and I hope you felt seen, adored, and important in these photos. I know it seems you are unseen with top knots and drool on your tees instead of beautiful dresses like these. I am sure you don’t hear it enough, but you impress me. Whether you are already a momma, expecting or waiting for your turn, you all are STUNNING!

This egg chair lent the perfect domestic flare to the natural backdrop, and I’m forever grateful these families trusted my eye for detail and location selection. I continue to be blown away by God’s provision of trusting families who know the importance of documenting this fleeting time in their child’s life.
